10 Magical destinations for your honeymoon in Mexico

For a lot of us one of our favorite parts in all of this wedding process is definitely choosing the spot for the honeymoon. We all deserve a nice break to enjoy with our partner after all the hurry and stress that we had during all these months that we spend planning a wedding. And of course you can’t ignore Mexico when you think about honeymoon!

Mexico is a country full of wonderful destinations that will never stop to amaze us and it's not only the most famous and touristic places in the world that are worth visiting; there's also some low-key places that are full of magic and that will make your honeymoon an unforgettable experience. 

That's the main reason why we wanted to show you 10 destinations that will be the perfect alternative for having a dreamy honeymoon in Mexico.

 

  • Tulum, Quintana Roo.

Even though its popularity has incremented more in the last decade, Tulum still keeps its hip style and authentic essence. It's a place to disconnect yourself from everything but also gives you the chance to enjoy the night life with good drinks and the best of Mexican gastronomy.

How would it be to start your day with a little bit of adventure visiting de Sian Ka'an biosphere, practicing snorkel in a cenote or taking a trip to an archeological site at the sea short? After that you can relax and enjoy one of the most amazing food you will taste at  Hartwood, where you can let the place surprise you with their menu that changes daily accordingly with what the sea and the area have to offer day by day. 

And if we talk about lovely places, you can stop visiting Coqui Coqui, a fancy retreat with hotel, restaurant, spa and perfume shop that has such a dreamy architecture. But if you're more of a free spirited, then you would rather stay in en eco loft at the beach in Coco Tulum, that has a Zen Zone where you can enjoy of a Temascal (healing vapor bath), an outdoor massage and yoga lessons. 

 

  • Loreto, Baja California Sur.

An ideal place if all you want is to relax and get away of the city bustle. Its spectacular waters are ideal for beach tourism. From December to May you can be witnesses of one of the most amazing natural phenomenos in the area, mom whales giving birth to their little babies in the ocean. If you want to know more about the history of the area, in Sierra de San Francisco there's an extraordinay collection of ancient rock paintings with an age of 1,500 years that portrait daily life, magic and cosmology scenes.

  • Sayulita, Nayarit. 

A magic town full of hippie chic vibes ideal for relaxing and forget the stress. It's not a place where you go to party hard but you'll find many activities that will make your honeymoon in Mexico unforgettable, such as horse riding, kayac, snorkeling at Playa de los Muertos, windsurf and kitesurf, go to excursion to the Marietas Islands or even living the unique experience of releasing baby turtles into the sea.

Also you can do activies as fishing, snorkeling, diving, parasailing and paragilding.
